Trulli preparing for 2011 season with Lotus
Jarno Trulli has all but confirmed that he will be remaining with Lotus next season, with the Italian now preparing for a 2011 seat fitting with the Norfolk-based team prior to spending Christmas at home in Italy with family members.
Lotus is yet to confirm either Trulli or team-mate Heikki Kovalainen for 2011 although both drivers are expected to stay with the outfit.
“I'll go to the factory in a few days to get ready and prepare the 2011 season chassis, cockpit and seat," Trulli explained to BBC Radio Norfolk. “Then I will probably have a break with my family, just relaxing."
He went on to admit that adapting to a tail-ending squad was not always easy this season but remains upbeat ahead of Lotus’ second campaign.
“Some performances have been pretty bad compared to what I was used to,” he continued. “Nevertheless, I have always tried to get the best out of myself and the car - I've still enjoyed a lot of good fights.”
