Hello from Germany :)

Please excuse my english form, but I am not able to talk to you in your language (and english only in a bad way too ;) )

I have found your lovely forum over Bauke, who has made the fabulous 4-Seater-Meeting in Holland.

I have a problem. I have bought an Excel on the isle with RHD and also RHD Headlamps. Now I need for the german TÜV LHD-Lamps. Which ones do you use and where are they to buy?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards
Don

Hello,

I'm definitely not an Excel specialist but maybe you can try one of these sites:

Hi Don,

You can buy Landrover 7" LHD wipac headlights with E-marking and install them as Agnus did on the Excelnet.

Hi Hans,

Yes, but the wipacs are not h4 ones if I correct remember. And I don't want to change the mounting in the first step.

Doesn't anybody of your community has bought a RHD too and has now the problem? Or what will people here do to get a spare pair if the old ones are rott?

Thanks for your and mindpowers advice

Don

I had an Excel but didn't replace the head lights due to oldtimer-plate, but I would recommend to have a look @ Hella/Cibie standard lights : they do have H4 & come in a pretty wide variety of dimensions :)

Hello bzguy,

thanks. Yes indeed, they have. But all have different mountingpoints :( so far I have investigated it.

So a approved type would be very nice.

kind regards
Don

The original cibie headlights are not available anymore.
SJsportscar has a kit for LHD conversion with other cibie headlights.
