Advance discount tickets are now on sale to the worlds largest Lotus event. The 9th Lotus Festival will be held again at Brands Hatch Motor Racing Circuit over the weekend of the 15th – 16th August 2015, an absolute must in the calendar of any Lotus fan. With a full race weekend lined up and thousands of Lotus cars on display, the Lotus Festival remains a highlight of the annual events calendar and this years attractions include:

[LOTUS FESTIVAL] VIP parking in-circuit for advance tickets

I've always found it odd that people drive for miles to the Festival and have to park their Lotus out front in the public parking.

This year, all those who buy advance tickets and state you're be coming in your Lotus will receive a VIP parking car hangar for in-circuit parking.

This is limited to the first 500 people and you'll have to be arriving before 9am but it will create a huge and impressive display of Lotus cars for all to enjoy! The car park will be marshalled and you'll be directed into place but if you know the circuit, this VIP parking is on the gravel car park on the right about 200 yards after the gate.

Ik heb er eigenlijk wel zin in ja.
Ik moet wel nog mijn tickets kopen, maar ik heb dit hier al thuis even besproken.
Dit jaar laat ik pukkelpop een varen, hiervoor.
Zijn er nog mensen die gaan ?

Iemand een idee waarom het niet lukt om deze tickets te bestellen ?
Ik zelf vermoed omdat het geen adres is in Engeland

Is er iemand die vrijdag al gaat en zaterdag terug keert?

Lotus Festival was voor mij een go, tot ik net doorhad dat het overlapt met een event op zondag waarvoor ik fotograaf ben. Enige mogelijkheid die ik dus nog heb is hopen op de goedwil van anderen en een plaatsje

Vertrek op zaterdag 08:00 in Duinkerke en terugkeer zondag 18:00 Dover.

Overnachting is geboekt op 10km van Brands Hatch, aan democratische prijs.

Gisteren nog een telefoontje gekregen van een ander forumlid.
Gezien mijn Elanneke vol zit, zou hij overwegen om de zondag over en weer te gaan...

Misschien zijn er nog geïnteresseerden om er een (dag)uitstap van te maken ?

Er zijn ook rally demonstraties (Talbot Lotus), F1 demo 2x 15', Evora 400 zal er zijn, Classic Team Lotus met 4 oude F1 wagens (Gold Leaf, Benetton, Camel), tal van stands en clubs vertegenwoordigd, ...
Dit jaar zelfs enkele dealers met 2de handswagens (al is het geen goed moment om dure ponden te betalen voor een RHD)
